Welcome to the art space of Anita Williams. I will use this space to write about my art processes, my inspirations and other things I am learning in my journey. I am generally a positive person but I am drawn to the negative space in nature. Things that are unseen or overlooked.

Bird on a Wire Painting by Anita Williams
This is a test! I am posting one of my paintings for comments. This is an oil on canvas, 18x24. The view from my house painted on location last fall. I appreciate any and all comments.
Hi Anita, I stopped by to check out your painting. Very nice! Great colors. You're have a great time blogging, there are so many wonderful artist's out. Keep at it and I'll keep checking in. Happy painting.
I love swirling vortexes. The next painting I plan to post has them as well. I sometimes start a painting out on location and then I take it into my studio. Sometimes the music (or the muse) takes over. These typically result in swirling vortexes or fun, unexplained areas in the negative spaces.

I love the painting. It's very vibrant. In the lower right corner there seems to be a swirling vortex that draws me in.
Thanks Barbara.
I'm going to keep posting these as I need all the feedback I can get!
Thanks Tom,

Wow! That is astonishing, Anita. I love it! What a fabulous explosion of colour and texture.
Wonderful!
More, please.
Thanks Dive,
Today's post includes another colorful painting. It is a bit "more" explosive than the first. Enjoy.
Wow! Or rather, Pow!
Very nice.
