Happy Happy, Joy, Joy!

I need happy thoughts and positive energy folks. My husband's best friend from Boston, "Michael", was diagnosed with Acute Lymphotic Leukemia a couple of weeks ago. Today I hear he has some sort of infection. I also heard he went into kidney failure 14 hours ago. Thoughts, prayers, Love, peace and happiness.... Think upon these things. I want to muster as much positive energy as possible.

That's such sad news. My Mam had leukaemia and it's a horrible illness. On the bright side my daughter in law's father has had it for over 10 years now and is doing very well. So it's not always doom and gloom, it depends on the type I suppose.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Thanks Winifred,

There are different types. I'm afraid Michael has the Acute Lymphotic which is probably not the better one to get. Kareem Abdul Jabar (famous U.S. Basketball player) just announced he has the Chronic variety which is slower.

I freaked because he sent me a chat message about a week and a half ago. "Hello Anita. I'm in the hospital." He was in good spirits. Now he is on a respirator and in kidney failure.

Last week I thought. Oh, we'll go down to Virginia and see him over the holidays. Now I'm not so sure.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much Dive. I've just been getting bad news. I need positive energy, love, happiness, prayers, meditations and all the good stuff to go to Michael now.

Thanks Maria. We are just waiting and hoping. Michael is still in ICU. That is all I know.

Thanks Katie,

I just heard today that they are bringing Mike out of sedation. His vitals are improving. Keep all those good thoughts coming. I'm working my way back to blogging.
