Post Election Glee

I'm in a good mood after the Obama win so I thought I'd share some more fall foliage photos.

I will be looking at them for potential painting ideas.

You can thank Pennsylvania for helping in the effort.

I can't say things will be wonderful now. Obama certainly has his work cut out for him. Obama does possess that rare ability to inspire people. I hope he uses his gift to work with all the American people.

Cheers to you all. In the meantime, enjoy the foliage!

Beautiful photographs, Neetzy. Thank you so much for them.
Unfortunately, the weather here has been too grim to get out and photograph autumn colour and now the trees are almost all bare.
Maybe next year.

I took these before the weather got nasty. It has been foggy and drizzly all week. I'm glad I had a few minutes of sunshine to do this. I think I have enough material to generate some sort of painting.

mccabeandco,

Thanks for visiting! I love the fall colors. I stayed home and painted today before they were gone. If you haven't figured it out, I live in the woods. I am a bit of a tree-hugger.

Freya is posing very well in that first picture!

This was one of the prettier autumns we've had in a while.

Shazza,

That's Fiona. She's the black one. Freja is the golden. Yes it has been a gorgeous season! Some of the peak foliage was a little late this year. It's just about all gone now.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. I can't believe how much where you live looks like where I live! Lovely rolling hills and beautiful fall colours. Not at the moment though, it's spring down here!

MmeBenaut,

It is amazing how some distant places can look similar! I love this time of year. I will have to visit to see your spring pictures!
